a politician is an arse upon

Synopsis

A setting of the eponymous E. E. Cummings poem.

No. 63 in the 100 Poems project.

The entire poem is a couplet which reads:

a politician is an arse upon
which everyone has sat except a man

The score reads:

Mass action involving a large group of people performing the following:
1) Handfuls of water spontaneously dropped on the floor [splat!]
2) Small cups of water dumped suddenly from a large height into large buckets of water
3) Glasses thrusted upside-down into medium-sized buckets of water and allowed to overturn, releasing their air [glug!]

After some time has passed, the speaker reads the couplet loudly over the ruckus behind him.

Actions continue for some time after that.
