This piece is the scoring for a section of the 2007 short film, Sidewalk, which I co-wrote and co-directed. This part of the film follows a business man in reverse, beginning at the end of the street where he appears disheveled, tracing his steps back to the start to see how he got that way.
A quick anecdote about the filming of this section of the movie: We had a window of about an hour in which to shoot this scene. Everyone’s schedules were crazy and this was the only time everyone could make it to set at the same time. Furthermore, the cut used in the movie was the only take filmed. The camera battery died after the first take and the other batteries we had with us were dead. It’s a good thing the first take was perfect.
