Synopsis

Songbook is a collection of works for solo male voice and acoustic guitar.

Much like many of Charles Ives’ art songs are his takes on popular themes and sounds, Songbook is a collection of works influenced by American folk and popular music. It is preferred that the singer accompany himself on guitar.
